¿HOW DOES IT REALLY WORK?

The objective of the test is to measure the impact of Fitch Fuel Catalyst on Natural Gas. The ASTM test series performed are ASTM D7833, ASTM D7423 & ASTM 3588.

The Fitch® Fuel Catalyst reformulates gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, propane and natural gas causing the reformulated fuels to produce more energy during combustion than these fuels otherwise would. It is a true catalyst which by definition causes one or more chemical reactions but does not participate in them. Because it doesn’t participate in the reaction, unlike additives, it is not consumed in the reaction and thus lasts for years after initial installation.

The Fitch Fuel Catalyst has no moving parts and is thus maintenance free. It’s very easy to install… and it lasts for years after installation!

Because the Fitch Fuel Catalyst causes more complete combustion it also reduces pollution and toxic emissions in the form of greenhouse gases, polyaromatic hydrocarbons, particulates and soot. When combustion is complete and 100% of the potential energy is extracted from the fuel the byproducts of combustion are carbon dioxide (CO2), water (H2O) and nitrogen (N). Toxic emissions such as greenhouse gases are a byproduct of incomplete combustion. Because the Fitch Fuel Catalyst causes more complete combustion these toxic emissions are reduced substantially.  Maintenance costs and unscheduled downtime are also significantly reduced because of reduced carbon build up.

Working Principle with Natural Gas & Propane

Natural gas usually contains a number of different molecules and some microorganisms. The nature of any batch of fuel is based on the source and can contain methane, propane, butane, water, and others. The concentration of each has bearing on the BTU output.

The Fitch Fuel Catalyst induces reactions in the gas at or near the point of use and is easily incorporated into a heating system. This catalyst is novel in that it induces reactions in fuels at temperatures far below where petroleum catalysts have historically been known to function.

The reactions the Catalyst induces are beneficial and when placed in fuel lines increase combustion efficiency while reducing emissions. The results occur because fuels are reformed and often resuscitated to organic structures that combust fully.

The precise effect of Catalyst is dependent on the concentration of the constituents the Catalyst ineracts with which are present in all fuels to some degree. The Catalyst process converts the water and non-methane components into molecules with more oxygen and hydrogen which have energy of combustion. These improvements to fuel, result in lower fuel consumption and also in reduced maintenance. These are confirmed by studies performed by Independent Institutions.

Before & After Fitch Catalyst Installation

Numerous installations performed on industrial, commercial and residential burners/boilers demonstrated fuel economy improvement between 5% and 18% and significant emissions reduction. Also a much brighter flame and an improved heat transfer!

Fitch catalysts C promotes removal of H and formation of olefins, which are good for combustion and can couple to form higher molecular weight species. The average molecular weight of the result an species is not reduced to a level of low energy content.

Different hydrocarbons behave differently with the catalysts. For mixtures of straight chains or cyclic hydrocarbons oxygen can be incorporated into the hydrocarbons to form oxygents. Oxygents like ethanol (top) and MTBE (bottom) are well known to enhance combustion.

The experiments were done in real time. They are fast and reproducible. Experiments were performed at atmospheric P(unusual for mas spectrometry) and are state-of-the-art (there are only about 150 total articles on DART in the literature). Data for aromatics, xylene show ring decomposition, olefin formation and coupling.

ADVANTAGES

Fitch Fuel Catalyst causes more complete combustion it also reduces pollution and toxic emissions in the form of greenhouse gases, polyaromatic hydrocarbons, particulates and soot.

Fuel Stabilizer

Because combustion is more complete, less carbon residue is formed fowling the oil, and dirtying injectors, carburetors and plugs. Reduces bacterial growth. Stabilizes permanently during off-season storage.

Efficiency Increase

Fitch Fuel Catalyst reformulates your fuel causing the treated fuel to burn more efficiently, therefore it uses less fuel for the same amount of work.

Improves Engine Performance

Increases torque, horsepower and octane. Lubricity is also dramatically improved meaning less wear on your engine.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT DOES THE FITCH® FUEL CATALYST DO?

The Fitch® Fuel Catalyst reformulates commercial grade fuel allowing for more complete combustion thus allowing you to extract more energy per gallon. This offers two immediate benefits 1) greater efficiency, reducing the amount of fuel needed to do the same work and/or 2) increased performance particularly in terms of increases in horsepower and torque.  Because combustion is more complete, pollution such as greenhouse gases are also significantly reduced.

WHAT KIND OF FUELS DOES THE FITCH® FUEL CATALYST WORK ON?

Gasoline, Diesel, Fuel Oil and Propane.

IN WHAT SORT OF APPLICATIONS?

A variety of applications ranging from automotive to recreational power sports, from power generation to commercial and recreational marine as well as commercial and residential heating.

WILL THE FITCH® FUEL CATALYST HURT MY ENGINE OR MACHINE? HOW WILL IT EFFECT THE MANUFACTURES WARRANTY?

It will not hurt your engine or machine and has no impact on your warranty. The Fitch® Fuel Catalyst simply pre-treats and improves the fuel. It does not interfere with any mechanical or electrical components found in your engine or machine. It has no moving parts and is thus maintenance free.

HOW IS THE FITCH® FUEL CATALYST DIFFERENT FROM AN ADDITIVE?

An additive is a chemical added to the fuel and must be replaced with every refill. The Fitch® Fuel Catalyst is a permanent fuel treatment that works for years after initial installation.

HOW LONG WILL IT WORK?

Commercial grade units are warranted for 500,000 miles or 10,000 operating hours.
Non-Commercial Grade units are warranted for 250,000 miles or 5,000 operating hours.
